Brilliant. Palin's original interview was a perfect unintentional satire of herself. There was nothing Tina Fey could add. She didn't need to. People say it's scary that someone like Palin could be a serious contender. No, what's more scary is that people actually voted her into office.

From 0:37 to 0:42, Tina Fey demonstrates perfect timing--even pausing in the same places as Palin--and running the clips consecutively instead of concurrently does not allow the viewer to enjoy that. I'm sure there are plenty of boring old consecutive comparisons out there. Go for them and enjoy!

Good call! And I confess that I'm "guilty as charged," MooseOfReason.
Explanation: I wanted to have Tina's ending synchronize with Palin's so I located the part where Tina added a bunch of her own material (which was very funny) and snipped it out so that MOST of the remainder was again a copy of the original Palin babble. I forget how many seconds were cut, but it was cut in ONLY that ONE place. Tina only strayed off the Palin script for that short period of time then went back to script.
