Oh My God!!! My first formula 1 game!!! Man i don't know you,but for me this was one of best f1 game for the psx i ever play,this for me are the good old day of formula 1 games,ok now the Codemaster brought formula 1 2010 for the ps3 last year,and this year in september brought formula 1 2011,but why the Codemaster,don't make a remake of this game??? A mean,it will be awsome :).Anyway back to this video,@nismete,i realy apriciate this upload,thank you,and keep goin update that kind of video :)

When F1 2010 came out, I played it and thought "Wow, this may actually top F1 97 as my favourite F1 game."

Then, later on, I thought "Nah. Nothing can EVER top it."

Also, cars that were very unreliable in 1997 broke down a lot in this game - Frentzen, the McLarens and the lower teams...and teams that did well in a race in 1997 like Benetton at Hockenheim or McLaren at Melbourne or Arrows at Hungaroring did well in the game. It wasn't always the same at the top. Buenos Aires and Barcelona were very hard..

Still playing it today too. Finally after 10 years, I won the Championship in full race Expert, Failures and Damage on with Frentzen. I can't win in Monaco though in the Championship, too many black flags and failures and Spa was impossible in Arcade without a Williams. The best game ever, possibly better than tetris!

Man so many hours spent playing this I think I wasted half my childhood and teen years playing this, such and epic game, great OST & best intro to a F1 game ever, I think it went downhill after 97 and then pick itself back up in 05 or F1EC (trust me I have every F1 game ever made)
