    What's the hate for this guy? He is skilled, so what that he doesn't play soulfully or whatever. He seems place his emphasis on the more rhythmic side of things then the melodic - and at the end of the day that is closer to your typical bass player's role. Perhaps this guy is demonstrating his abilities as a member of an ensemble rather then as a solo bassist? But hey I don't know
