Sherlock Holmes secures a SCRIBE! Hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, IM Tatiana carrier and Ive got the scoop on whos been hired to pen to Sherlock holmes threequel!

Yes, its true, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows doesn't even open until December 16, but Warner Bros. is already planning the next installment of the period detective adventure movies.

The studio has hired Drew Pearce, the creator of the British superhero TV satire No Heroics, to pen a script for what would be the third installment of the Robert Downey Jr.-Jude Law hit flick.

Now Pearce is a name you should definitely get familiar with as Hollywood is keeping him pretty busy!!! He is currently writing Iron Man 3 for Marvel Studios another RDJ flick and Paramount's adaptation of DC Comics' The Mighty.

This movie should become a 10 movies series.It will be so awesome.Because in the books its a race with Professor Moriarty through various challenges that he makes and Holmes solves.Both of them testing who is the superior genius .A single movie cant justify the many miseries adventures the books hold.

@FBFTheRagingWarrior I agree - but, just to nitpick, Moriarty actually barely features in the original stories by ACD. There is no mystery plot even in Moriarty's only significant story 'The Final Problem'. You're probably thinking of the many adaptations that have inserted Moriarty into Holme's story from a much earlier stage and built up to their confrontation with an ongoing rivalry (like the excellent BBC version). But ACD never wrote that story, more's the pity!
