The guy surely is not a professional musician, but is putting up a great effort. The animal, an OX called 'Basavanna', is decorated and taken out from house to house by such poor people asking for alms for the performance rendered. This is seen is Andhra Pradesh during Pongal or Sankranti. The tradition has almost vanished in Hyderabad atleast but can still be seen in towns and villages.
