This is an amazing scene from Hope College's performance of "Rose and the Rime" at Marquette University for the 2008 American College Theatre Festival. It was directed by Nathan Allen of The House theatre in Chicago. I took the with my camera, only hoping to get the amazing scene, but found out once it loaded that it had sound too! The show was also chosen to perform at Nationals at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
The play is set in a fictional Michigan town that has a curse of permenant winter upon it. A young girl named Rose, who is raised by her uncle, is curious and full of life. She knows of the Rime witch, and finds one of her icicle daggers in a box in her uncle's things. She goes to kill the witch and end the curse. This is the scene where she enters the witches cave...
I dont have any rights or whatever, I just want to show the world what an amazing show this was!!
