also, as a very minor critique..if you want it, try perhaps increasing the bass of the bass. Its very trebley. Perhaps thats what you wanted, but I feel like theres a space in the mix for a bass frequency, and itd give it more of a bang. maybe.

i did want a treble frequency on the bass, but the main reason there isnt more bass overall on the track is that my budget setup can't really do bass frequencies, it just distorts them so i have to keep it high. Thaks for your comments, Josh

sounds really good. I like that the drums are muted a bit towards the beginning, but I kept waiting for them to be brought up a little as the song progresses and sort of swells. I think another mix where the drums come more into the forefront mid way through would really beef up the mix. but overall, it sounds really good. far and away the best cover of this song I've ever heard.
