This is a vid showing how to create a unique pinup style using victory rolls. The look was inspired by a picture of the lovely Doris Mayday.
Please excuse my messy poor excuse for a twist in the back haha. I couldn't look in a mirror to see what I was doing while I was recording. I need to purchase a mirror to use for that still lol. Anyway, you get the point and I still wanted to post this because I LOVE the style! Have fun trying it out and put it to good use! (Just make sure to use a mirror to create the twist lol)
xoxo

  • Beautiful!

  • Just wanted to say I did this hairstyle last night for New Years Eve and this is the first time I was finally able to get the Victory Rolls with your tutorial! Was super excited because I have tried curling my hair before and it didn't work out for one reason or another. Anyway, I got lots of compliments and I just want to say thank you for this tutorial!

  • 6:37... THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! hahah! Love the video.. Very helpful. Thank you! All of your videos are fantastic! :D

  • Ah thank you so much, I have to do hair like this for a musical I'm in.

But, do you think this is do-able for chin length hair at all?

  • Thank you your tutorial was awesome I have a wedding to go to and I really wanted a nice vintage hairstyle to go with my vintage dress. Thank you =)

  • Stunning! :)

  • Another awesome tutorial, thanks for doing this.... your videos are very helpful, and I just like to watch them. Could you do another hair tutorial from "mad men" (for example Peggy), please? It would be so nice of you.

    xoxo Agata :*
