@scienceatheism : There are various symbolic languages. There are mathematical symbols, scientific symbols, spoken and written language are symbolic, there are also religious and theological symbolic systems. These symbolic systems all attempt to communicate. I don't know about the crime aspect. I guess if criminals use the English language in commission of crimes, you could attribute crime to that also.
