From what I experienced, I really can't say that they are lazy. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with their working moral. Education however, like most third world country not everyone can afford school. But this is a discussion that could take hours. :)

i just got bak from patong just yesterday and i went 2 see the ping pong show it was FUKING DISGUSTING they shoved a bird up there and then it flew out and they also do eels its seriously fuked up

Thais love the King as Catholics love the pope. The King of Thailand does many good deeds. But he is not allowed to interfere with the political aspects.No Thai is forced to love the King. They are simply taught to respect him as a child is taught to respect parents.

@ridgy1200 。they are not lazy. I see hundreds of people young and old get ready for next day's market at 2 am in the morning. Is that lazy? Thailand is an agriculture based economy, and it is hard to get rich that way. They are hardworking, but perhaps not as driven as the Singaporeans, Japanese, Koreans, Hong Kongers who are more driven than Americans. Some parts of Bangkok are more modern than second tier cities in USA or Europe. Although on the whole the country is not first world.
