This video is an utter load of crap. Firstly the clips of starving people are from the 1930s and 1940s, before Mao came to power. The fact is there are no non-propaganda images from the GLF which show destitution of the level shown in the pictures of the video. One of the pictures is from Shanghai, just before the communist takeover in 1949. Far from the deadliest ruler of all time, the Maoist system perhaps saved more lives than any other polity in human history.

It is very easy to brainwash the masses. The bigger the lie the easier it is for people to believe. Examples

"Global warming" was pushed to help fill the pockets of the rich and politicians while we are at the coldest part of the Quaternary ice age with CO2 levels at near lowest levels in earth's history. Many religiously believe this one even today

This is a typical one-sided documentary clip. If he was such a vaillant as accused, how come hundreds of millions of Chinese have yelled "long live Chairman Mao", and that includes the most intelligent minds in China. Think it through. Although you could blame it on brain-washing, how about go brain-washing a million people and tell me how easy it is?
