  • "After Mary Wilson and Nancy Ballard of The Supremes ‘discovered’ us at our club late in 1966, our band got a recording contract with Motown Records to produce an album. " from the article: "Tommy Chong's Vancouver - By Tommy Chong - Sunday, August 24 2008 in Cannabis Culture Magazine - on-line - good history

  • @Paulsdottir thats Florence Ballard not Nancy

  • Wow, too be familiar with Tommy Chong as a comedic movie actor when I saw them as a teenager and having no prior knowledge that he was a musician, no less, in a 60s soul band is just blowing my mind. In one of the early Cheech and Chong movies, he's playing a bass guitar but i had no idea that it wasn't just a skit. Thanks for the information.

  • My fave song from the album...I played the fucking grooves off the record...wish someone would load the whole thing!

  • @MotownMaster - thanks, I such cut and pasted the quote from the article written by Tommy Chong and didn't even pay attention :).

  • @salazam Albums first before comedic stand up routines?

  • @Khultan You should be aware that Cheech and Chong were famous for their albums first, before they even made it to the silver screen.

  • @MIMI88998899 You are right. The other one is the right speed

  • Far Out Man!

  • THIS IS NICE BUT IT IS TOO FAST. THERE IS ANOTHER ONE POSTED THAT IS ON THE RIGHT SPEED.
