@ColinBurnside The chiller unit is important. First do a functional check by running the Warmup.iso program and follow the water temp. on the chillers display. If you've got a Rofin Slab the temp. should be +/- 1.2 degrees. If you've got an axial flow laser like CP or PRC the temp. range can be a bit bigger say +/- 2.5.
1) Must avoid any recycling of hot air back through the chiller radiator, as this stresses the cooling system.
2) Check contaminants in water, look at the bottom of the tank.
Hi ya use a Prima Platino for cutting flat sheet. Standing in front of the machine the lazer has difficulty frofiles on the RHS front any suggestions? Thanks.
@ColinBurnside 3) If that doesn't help ask a cooling specialist to check R407c refrigerant charging.
Other tips: Maintain a good waterflow by cleaning or replacing the 100micron water filter, 4.5 to 5 bar is perfect.
Seal up the water tank lid with duct tape to prevent durt entering water.
Have the machine serviced every 2000hr by Prima guys, they should do a good job for you.
Good luck. Bonn Lavora !
