Storforsen is part of the Pite River, about 40 kilometres north-west of Älvsbyn. Storforsen is part of a five-kilometre stretch of waterfalls, including a final 2 kilometres made up of great falls, where the level drops 60 metres. Normally the water flows at about 250 m3/sec. At high water around midsummer, it can go up to 870 m3/sec, or more!!!
i live extremely close to Storforsen >_>....

Great clip, I was there in June '06 and was blown away by it! Metaphorically, of course!! One of the natural wonders of the world.
