Knob Creek Kentucky - October 2010 Gun Show and Shoot (HD)

Random footage from the Knob Creek Gun Show and Machine Gun Shoot, West Point, Kentucky; October 8-10, 2010. This was originally posted as an "unlisted" video for several days before I made it "public".

ABOUT KNOB CREEK GUN RANGE: This is an active business entity located just south of Louisville, Kentucky; and adjacent to the northern border of the Fort Knox military installation. The Knob Creek property encompasses several hundred acres, including smaller ranges for renting and shooting guns, and observing competitions. Costs for renting and shooting full-auto weapons ranged up to $100, possibly higher depending on the firearm and amount of time/ammo.

This semi-annual event includes a massive gun show with hundreds of vendors and thousands of products represented. There is an on-site gun shop, fully stocked, open during normal business hours, and was certainly "shoppable" during the show. Admission to the October 2010 event was only $10.....tremendous value for periodic machine gun and cannon demonstrations, gun show, viewing competitions, and non-traditional displays of pyrotechnics.

This event is held twice each year, in April and October. IMPORTANT TO NOTE......attendees for these events make a significant contribution to the local economy; food, hotels, fuel, products, etc. Such is the nature of the 2nd Amendment in action.

Some people are just different. I like to go into my studio and paint. I go running in the woods and hope to see some wildlife and then I come home and prepare a healthy dinner. Others prefer to shoot guns, walk around the destruction and eat at Applebees for dinner. Am i making a value judgment? You bet.
