I have the Phoenyx album on tape....a friend made it for me a decade ago, and it was the first Heather Alexander I ever heard. It still plays--you better believe I'm coddling that baby till I find a way to get it onto CD!

er... i *think* the song "cat and the fiddle" is on the album of the same name. but now that i went looking, i can't find a songlist for it, so i shouldn't swear to it. :-/

i know the album "cat and the fiddle" is all instrumental, though, no lyrics. so if the song's there, it won't sound like this version.

this one's been recorded at least twice, on the albums "Life's Flame" and "Cat and the Fiddle". three times if you count the Phoenyx album "Keepers of the Flame", but that one's completely impossible to find now.
