For the cover of our annual April Shape Issue, who better to talk to than supermodel/superbody Gisele Bündchen? We traveled down to a remote part of Costa Rica to visit the new mom (and eco-activist) at the gorgeous getaway she shares with her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. We went behind the scenes at the shoot with Patrick Demarchelier and, back in New York, sat down with writer Joan Juliet Buck to talk about the big changes surrounding one of the world's most beautiful women.

She is a German and looks very German but is from Brazil . I think her face is too masculine but her look is interesting, not the prettiest but more of a unique look.

She's the Last Supermodel. Everything she endorses turns to gold. No other model has this power today. This is why brands,magazines will ALWAYS hire her. Plus they all brag about how amazing and professional she is to work with. I just love how she has an exotic distinctive beauty and isn't a boring convential cookie cutter beauty. It's definitely worked for her; not against. People who like those boring bland blonds who yes are pretty, but you can find 1000 more of them, will never be Gisele.
