A simple formula for finding the circumference of a circle is two times pi times the radius. Calculate the distance around the outside of a circle in centimeters with tips from a math teacher in this free video math lesson.

  • Even if he was little off on the 3.14 he total made me understand how find circumference of a circle now. I honest didnt know that you then times it by two for instant. on his example of R 3 time 3.14 times 2. I total know how do this now..LOL Well somewhat understand at least..LOL

  • so if pi is equal to circumference divided by diameter than 18/6 equals 3, which is not exactly what pi is, meaning that your circle will never connect 1 end to the next.
