  • @ThePlayoutband because Chinese English would be the speaker's second language

  • @qita0 Even in Canada, depending on what Provence your from, your accent can vary, people from Newfoundland sound much different from some one from Toronto.

  • Why not Czech, German, Italian, Slovak, Chinese or Swedish English? It´s included in the "so forth", isn´t it? Why learn/teach British, Irish, New Zeland, US if the native speakers are just a minority of English users?

  • Is there Inglish English ?

  • Irish English is where it's all at. Bono is Irish, and he saved 10 million people from world hunger. His music has a unique American-European sound, and is popular with people learning languages, because they actually know about how sounds work. He uses an odd word or two of Spanish to spice things up as well. LOLOL Did I forget to mention that he's Irish?

  • In my Norwegian high school we spent one year learning to recognise and understand regional forms of English, including Indian Jamaican English. I think that was useful.

  • Quite a useful film not only for teachers but for students as well. Some students don't understand why they should know that about English or why they should study something about varieties of pronunciation, for example, or why it's important to use some words instead of others even if all the words seem to be English. Thanks a lot!!!

  • @ciaran12 Canadian English.. and so forth

  • Ehm! What about IRISH English? Sorry, we just don't like to be left out...

  • The big ranges of english language due to make it an universal language, thus immigrants who go to live in the Usa, Canada, Australia, New Zeland, help to change english as language, i can tell for instance europanto,it is a variation from mixed different languages into english context, now i 'd say The United Kindom, There's the queen's english i mean it is a kind of fashion to take after the way the queen speaks, more at women follow her way of methodology.
