@lynch03 He's doing the song slower because he hates when people sing along. He's said that many times in interviews. ;) I understand where he's coming from, still I'd find it hard not to sing if I saw him live...perhaps I'd sing, just quietly.

@lynch03 He plays for When The Curios Girl Realizes She Is Under Glass, which was quite a while ago. I've also seen him playing the intro to some songs on Digital Ash, such as Gold Mine Gutted. Not to mention the music video for Coyote Song (although he could have been miming.)

@Elvisbackfromthedead ahh i see, thanks for the info. most of the performances i've seen of him were on late night talk shows and he's usually playing a guitar like instrument if anything.

@lynch03 No, he played keyboard on the very first Bright Eyes album, and every one since, though usually not the main part. He plays a little guitar, piano, bass, and drums actually, he just usually prefers to get someone who's better than him to play so he can focus on singing I guess. But there are definantly a few songs he always plays piano live.

saw him live at the west fair amphitheater this was his closer. before he came back on and played road to joy! june 5th 2011!!!! great show

Oh. My. God. I think I literally squeeled when I saw his hair flip at the beginning. I loveeeeee himmmmmm. I'm forcing my dad to go see him when he comes to Las Vegas! Whew. Okay done freaking out. I think.
