This fim is unique for Roddy while he tends to speak French in it. the film stars also a great French actor very popluar since Les Aventures De Rabbi Jacob, starring Louis de Funès, a French comedian. This actor was Marcel Dalio.
Roddy was and still is truly the best!

This is a rather crazy thing to say, but true. I'm actually related to Monty Woolley, but distantly related. My grandmother's name was Joy Woolley, so somewhere down her line, we're related. Man, The Man Who Came to Dinner blew me away! XD

Thanks for posting! I love Monty Woolley, Roddy McDowall and Peggy Ann Garner and early 40's films in general. There was another version of this book made in the '90s, if I remember right.
