tigers evevolved stripes due to habitat they live in for example when in a grassy area the tigers stripe hide it rather well and why we may see them remember many animals are color blind so the darks stripes prevent them from seeing the tiger until its to late

Q:why do Tigers have strips?

A:camouflage - the stripes look the same as the tall grass and trees that the tiger hides in, when seen by a prey animal. many of these are naturally colour blind. Even if they could see in colour, the tiger is still incredibly hard to spot
