QuickSand Distortion Pedal by Maxz

This is the QuickSand Distortion pedal handmade by Maxz. It is true bypass and it has a compressor built in as well. Both rhythm and lead guitars were recorded with this pedal. The guitar is an Ibanez SZ4020 with Seymour duncan TB6 and a 59 on the neck. I'm using the Line 6 M13 for the delay and a Joe Satriani Big Bad Wah by Vox. The amplifier is a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 with a factory speaker and a Celestion V30. On the demo the mic is the V30 side.

The rhythm guitar is playing one measure on 7 and the next one on 8, and it will sound off but every 4 measures it will fall back in 1.

Niceone.. I have this amp the F.A.T model from when they where built in America. It does everything I want... it can run my telecaster with really nice fender cleans and some good gentle overdrive with the classic fender long spring reverb. But I can put my blackstar Ht dist footpedal through with my drop A ibanez (same model as on the video) and have some serious metal tones. With the bright switch on it sounds like a 6505.

Awesome sound!

Have thought about buying another distortion pedal since my ARTEC - Crazy Metal pedal doesn't do it for all genres of music. Interesting... =)
