is this even a rivalry anymore? its like beating up your little brother in the backyard. gamecocks are obsessed with beating the tigers, they hang their season on it. they should try winning a game in the SEC east first before they worry about this end of year, almost meaningless rivalry game. the series isnt even close, give it up and look at the big picture. youre pathetic

I get what you're saying but it's not a meaningless rivalry. There's a lot of talent in South Carolina that these two teams fight for. The winner of this game annually has a big advantage in recruiting, given that these two teams recruit a lot of the same players. Also, there's a lot of bad blood in this rivalry.
