If the Mormons have their way, we will protect the family and the love that blossoms out of it.

The Twelve are 'to call upon the Seventy, when they need assistance, to fill the several calls for preaching and administering the gospel, instead of any others' (Doctrine and Covenants 107:38). The Lord has promised that He would reveal the way to fulfill these assignments as the need came.

Stone, of Layton, Utah, Muller, of Farmington, Utah, and Permann, of Spanish Fork, Utah, were part of the 120-plus voice Jenny Phillips choir when they met and were brought together to be a trio.

Their voices and personalities meshed and blended well and Mercy River began.

To teachers preparing to instruct either adults or youth, he said, "Study, learn and pray until you gain new insights yourself about the particular principle of the gospel you are about to teach. Sometimes, principles of the gospel are simple to explain, but they're not simple to live."

In his role at BYU, he has found that when faculty members are actively seeking to improve, they succeed measurably. That also applies to a Church setting, he said, citing Chapter 11 of the Church resource manual Teaching, No Greater Call, "Making a Plan to Improve Your Teaching."

Less than 1% of adults are counted as LDS in the USA, and 50% are inactive members.

NOT so great after so many years.

There were more than two times when I needed advice, and Sam was always the guy youd go to, said Anderson, who is the publisher of The Oregonian. He would just talk you through it. My world — and I think the world — is a lot better for Sam having been around.

Bailey loved his job, said Doris, his wife of 65 years. He went to work whistling, and he came home whistling.

There are books that are released to the market and quickly become best sellers. Sometimes they generate so much interest that people eagerly await their release. Such books seem to flood the market right away, and you can see people reading them everywhere. God, in His infinite wisdom, reserved the Book of Mormon for our benefit. Its purpose is not to become a best seller

Cindy Nelson says her daughter has always been a strong young woman. When weighing the pros and cons of entering the pageant, Nelson said, "I have already made my decision. If I don't win, it is OK."

"She amazes me that she is brave enough that when she makes a decision, she stands with it," Cindy Nelson said. "I truly know that she knows who she is."

"One car was filled entirely with books," Cindy Nelson said.

Nelson will study secondary education/English at the University of Wyoming, where she received numerous scholarship offers, including an honors scholarship, a dance scholarship and a Hathaway scholarship. Nelson's role model is her mother, but Dad won out when it came to college. Nelson was accepted to BYU, the school her mother wanted her to attend, but followed the scholarships to Wyoming. Nelson's father is a big Cowboy fan.
