Elizabeth Nikolas & Lucky 11/12/09 Part 2

Elizabeth stares at Lucky holding an engagement ring as Nikolas and Rebecca walk in.Everyone is silent as Nikolas imposes himself upon Elizabeth's date, asking the waiter to push two tables together so they can be one big happy party.Rebecca finally notices the ring and tries to soothe things over as Lucky snarks at Nikolas. Elizabeth glares daggers at Nikolas and holds out her hand for Lucky to slide the ring on.Elizabeth pours her heart out to Lucky,which annoys Nikolas.Nikolas stops by Elizabeth's studio to tell her that if she wants him, she knows where to find him.This is after he claims she doesn't love Lucky and Elizabeth takes offense,saying Nik can't tell her what to feel for his brother.Alone, Elizabeth remembers pledging her love to Lucky when they were teenagers.Lucky arrives at Elizabeth's studio with flowers. He knows something is wrong with her.Elizabeth covers and ends up making love to Lucky.Nikolas and Elizabeth are thinking of each other as they lay in bed with their respective others.

BUT, I don't care what anyone else has to say about it, those Valentine's Day vows were significant and a wonderful thing 'cause Lucky was trying to give Elizabeth something else to associate with that day other than her rape, which happened a year prior. I was sitting there when I first watched 'em as a 15 year old and thinking "I want that guy, where is he?" Of course he doesn't exist but...that's what soaps were about then! LOL

I HATE HATE HATE how JJ has to come back at that EXACT moment where she breaks Lucky's heart to no end. The same guy that saved her so many years ago, is gonna watch her cheat on him...damn, thats hardcore. But I dont blame Lucky, Or Liz. It's just my opinion. feelings change. But I do blame liz for ONE thing..accepting his proposal. Even if she wasnt sure, she could have held it off.

I'm afraid the outcome for LL2 from this story could determine my future with the show as well. After almost three decades of watching, Elizabeth is really the only character keeping me tied to the show. Where some see her attraction to Nikolas as crazy and character-destroying, I would consider her re-attachment to Lucky to be worse. Seeing that flashback made my skin crawl because it only seems to remind Elizabeth of an obligation, and of a fantasy that no longer exists.

As much love as I have for LL2, I think it would actually be better to split them up for the time being for two reasons:

1) I just don't see any man wanting to jump back into a relationship head first when he finds out about the woman sleeping w/his brother behind his back and

2) To be apart means that later down the line, they could have a whole new start. THAT I would tune in for.

JJ looks young...but he doesn't look as young as he did in that flashback, no way near it IMO!

The only reason why I watch Liz is because Jonathan is playing Lucky now. Liz belongs with Lucky , it is trailer trash thinking to think she is good with Nix Lucky brother. The chemistry between Nix and Liz people are referring too is just plan nasty, The writers of G.H have gone too far,, Liz and Nix are just nasty and very trashy.
