hi ^^ this is my piano arrangment of coheed & cambria's keeping the blade.
It's the Intro of Good Apollo part 1

EDIT:
This melody appears on previous albums of Co&ca.

http://www.youtube.com/user/squibo65 :

The melody of keeping the blade is on the other albums because it represents a passing of time. Its on the first album because thats not the first part of the story. they are coming out with the prequel to that album next. its on in keeping secrets because its some time after Claudio (the character) awakens after finding out his family is either dead or missing. you notice that since GA1 and GA2 are connected meaning there is no passing of time because it happens right after the other

This is the Original Song:

  • Wow, the sound is awesome! I'll try if I can manage to get the same sound quality with an equalizer (if I can get one, which doesn't happen xD).

You played this very well by ear. I've never heard of this song before, but I like it.

  • buy the m-audio transit usb interface. its only 79 euro at thomann. de and withit comes ableton live lite, the software i use to record and to balance the sound =)

  • OMG i love it. it sounds so beautiful thank u so much for sharing this with us

  • @migget159 He did say it's his own arrangement of it, it's not supposed to be a duplicate, and I find the change in tempo towards the end very energising, whilst still managing to give me chills.

  • I meant 1:18.

  • 1:25 onwards is just sublime, love that bit.

  • @migget159 Not sure if I agree with that. A bit fast at the end perhaps but to me the tempo changes add a bit of dynamic feel to the song. Just my .02.
