We have to put money in places that will get us out of this mess and then write laws to make sure the businesses who put us here to begin with can never do it again. You are right, of course! The type of infrastucture in need of repair/rebuild is a function of many factors (including location). Bridges are merely one aspect of our ailing national transportation system. Also in need of repair/rebuild are numerous roads, tunnels, rail lines, water systems (including dams), electrical power grids, levees, schools...
