Clip from BBC documentary Auschwitz : Inside the Nazi State- detailing plans for building of the camps at Auschwitz- which would eventually include Soviet POWS and Poles and Jews. The complex included forced labour camps and privately owned industrial plants and the "Death Camps"- Gas Chambers and crematoria. aprox. one million Jews would be killed at Auschwitz. Even today there are large numbers of young people who know very little about Auschwitz or the details of Hitler's fanatical anti-Semitism which led to the Final Solution so there is a need to insist on passing these historical facts onto each new generation. Otherwise they become the easy prey of the anti-Semites, the Neo-Nazis and the Holocaust Deniers.
