President Robert Mugabe says Zimbabwe still plans to hold its presidential run-off election on June 27, 2008, despite the official withdrawal of the opposition party -- Movement for Democratic Change. Its leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, withdrew from the race on Sunday. Mr. Tsvangirai said violence against his supporters made the election impossible. VOA's Jim Fry has more on the story.
