"so it's not going to get anywhere near that hot, but it is indeed probably at least warm." Well, that's kinda what I meant with: "but it should get hot..."

@TheMightyZwom Well, the squirrel has a lot bigger of a surface area and the heat isn't going to be concentrated in one point, even with the fur, to dissipate that 10W with then your soldering iron - so it's not going to get anywhere near that hot, but it is indeed probably at least warm.
But that resistance value is just a guess, because I don't have a value for the electrical resistance of an overcooked squirrel.

Sounds pretty cool. If you relly do, pleas film it and post it on Youtube - and of course: Tell me :)

2.5kV doesn't sound much to me, In my yet only Youtube-video I play with ca. 30kV.
Back to topic: Yes, that sounds realistic. But are you sure, that 10W will not heat up the squirrel? My soldering iron has 40W (max. power) and as you know: metal has a low thermal resistance. The sqirrel is a bit bigger than my soldering iron, but with the higher thermal resistance of it's body, I would guess with 10W it should get hot. Maybe not until it's cooking, but it should get hot...

see guys, I got a top rated comment and I didn't have to beg people to thumb my shit up!

@BKamron lmao

@AndrewWCo whos dat? :D

@TheMightyZwom This is also the part where I design some elaborate, overly complex and nearly unworkable trap to measure the electrical resistance of a squirrel without harming it.
Redneck Berbeque!!!
