Certified ABA therapy makes all the difference. They taught my son language, reduced tantrums, toilet trained him. Readers do yourself a favor, follow publications by: Robert Koegel at UCLA, and anything by PCDI, Dr Laura Screibman, De O Ivar Lovaas.

you got that right,we are surrounded,yes indeed,I had a friend who came from a family of 6 kids, and 3 of the girls had thyriod issues and cancer, they were all in there teens at the time, it turned out to be the carpet glue!@!they got a settlement

One nephew had leukemia & then was diagnosed w/ autism, but you know he was born w/ autism & the doctors looked over video footage & found evidence prior to chemotherapy of autistic traits. Behaviorism has taught him some great verbal skills despite his slow learning.
The other 3 were also born w/ autism & their IQ is high & for one behaviorism has made him "indistinguishable" the other two learned language w/o intervention.

Yes I agree, they are lumping poisoned children in with autistics. He is diagnosed autistic regardless of the truth. They don't want to admit the truth. They will drag their rancid little hooves as long as they can. Amalgams, pesticides, flame retardants, MSG, Aspartame,GM foods, foul air, sour water, ect, yes,ect.

I believe many people put up their homes, live on matresses, and do more harm to children. Plecebo measures should be placed. Autism will never be cured. Why put your child through expensive treatments when we do not know the outcome. Stick to a diet if anything

People who really have autism are born with a difference. If you want to argue environmental causes during pregnancy then I will listen otherwise you are talking foolishness or some other disability that is not autism.

I have little to gain by arguing, but I have a desire to tell people what truly works as my family benefits from truth. The reason that there are 600 articles on autism treatment success by behaviorism is because it works. The reason there are over ten thousand articles of behaviorism helping diverse populations is the same reason.

Whenever the exchange of money is involved, I question many of the "new" modalities being offered to desperate parents. There is no manner to immediately report the crimes perpetrated against our patients, i.e., chelation. The promise of a "cure" should be in writing and the document should be mailed to the child's doctor.
