Actually, picking BEP made it the best ever. Shows that he's not concerned with what a bunch of dweebs on the internet think of him.

BEP may suck (I think they do), but I'm sure plenty of people think the music you listen to also sucks. You can go into why one is better than the other, but at the end of the day, it's all subjective.
