Karaoke & Virtual DJ - Converting CD+G files to playable Zip Files Part 3 in the serie

Part Three in the series of four. This video is mostly about the CD+G files obtained by the karaoke disc ripping done in the first two videos.

What I show you here is how to convert the dual file (separate audio & video) CD+G to a single file that has both audio and video combined, the zip file. Then the final step is initializing these newly converted files into the database of Virtual DJ. On the next video I show you how to do this as well as add album art to your new files with VDJ connected to the internet.

I used cd+g tooz version 4.0 to zip my files after converting with Power cdg burner as your video shows.

However when I open the virtual dj and go to the file folder it doesn't recongnize any cdg's are there even though they are zipped.

Any thoughts on the problem?

@JV4162 There shouldn't be a problem. Check in the config menu of VDJ that .zip is listed in the codecs

when install the cd+g into my computer,,,why do all of my song change from 4,5 or so down to i minute?

what do i do about that ??

I tried buying the power cdg software they only have it available for windows based is there a similar software for MAC and also a software that converts them to zip files for a MAc thank though your videos help a lot

@nelsonfunez I'm not sure. I don't run VDJ on my Mac, only with Serato. PC is best for VDJ when it comes to running karaoke with VDJ

The best software to convert CD+G to Zip is POWER CDG BURNER this is the best for me and it is fast. the best investment

@Brendalovee143 Yes Brenda, more than likely that is the issue. It is a worthwhile investment if you plan on using it more than once or twice...

The Power CD+G burner i think is only converting a minute of the Karake CD for each song. Do you know why? Do you think i have to buy the software?
