Sonic Rush 1-1 TAS 33.15" Test Run

In order to prove that TAS times should in fact be faster than human records, I gave this level a go. The listed WR is 36.16", so this is a full 3 seconds faster. I found some very interesting techniques in the process. I will probably not do a full run of this game since I'm still working on Trauma Center.

Keep an eye out for Sonic BLJing like Mario.

The reverse boost jump at 0:13.2x (game time) can get more height so you can avoid hitting the next 2 springs.

Jumping at a 45 degree angle into the trampoline after the checkpoint at ~22 seconds can avoid the trick ring and allow you to dash onto the rail at a very fast speed.
