If you do get to Peru (and I'm sure you will) allow plenty of time as it takes 4 or 5 days to get used to the altitude even if you are really fit. My top recommends there are Nazca and Lake Titicaca... Machu Pichu is absolutely fascinating but it has way too many visitors now which kind of takes away from the atmosphere.

I was in the local park, they have a few soccer/football pitches there for the kids. I must be the only person in the uk who dosent folow football.... ;0)

Easter Island, Peru.... I'm jealous. Not sure if your done planning but if you can you must check out Cusco in Peru... thanks for sharing, it was touching, seriously.

I haven't finalised what I am doing in Peru yet but Cuzco and Machu Picchu are on my list as is the Nazca Lines. I will be there just under a month so hopefully I can fit them all in.
