Similarities between Islam and Christianity ( 1 of 2 )

Many non muslims build their understanding of Islam based on misconceptions. What most of them don't know is that Islam and Christianity have much in common than meets the eye. For example, a Muslim is not even considered a true believer if he does not accept Jesus as a Prophet who came with the truth. In fact, Islam is the only non Christian religion that believes in this concept.

Dr. Zakir Naik describes similar concepts from both Christian as well as Islamic texts. He narrates stories which are referenced in both religions. There are so many simialirities that anyone, Christian or Muslim would be amazed.

God, some of you Christians make us(me) look bad. Stop arguing. There are similarities within the two religions, so stop arguing. Don't jizz your pants, and concentrate on our similarities with the Muslims. If not, you are all hypocrites. I don't think Jesus would approve of rabid arguments and extremist comments.

We believe in the same one God. Nuff said.

i am a christian and i believe that islam and christian has one god........muhammad reveals the 2nd coming of Isa(Jesus) in Quran to deafeat Ad-Dajjal the false messiah.....jesus is not our god...he is our instrument to deliver our prayings to GOD.......peace to all of you

It is not one's place to show someone else why their religion is faulty if that person believes that strongly about their religion. Religion is not suppose to be about feuding and bloodshed, it is suppose to be about faith, inner peace, and praising the God of which you believe. To critique someone of their religion is in a sense telling someone to live their life according to that of one's own. How strong is your faith if you are always showing why what you believe in is superior to another?

@qattanification What makes me Christian is that I read that if you ask for the Living Water and Holy Spirit to change you and you keep asking and reading, GOD will do it, I read the word asking a few weeks and GOD did it... showed me love, Christ, heavens as well. God is awesome and the gift of God is the Holy Spirit which you have not sought.

You deny the glory of your own Messiah, your pride has won you over... you have not asked for the Living Water, not believed that God sent Christ to die in your place, you have made God out to be a liar. i would like to ask some christian: what make you christian? is it you accepted the religion from your heart or is it something you are followoing what your forefather followed? when you are trying to look at your religion never look at your parents. you should look at yourself and what you want to follow.

@JesusgavemeHolySpiri the term 'son' means the peace makers as stated in bible 'blessed be to the peacemakers as they are called the son of god' so in this case jesus is a peacemaker right ?
