yeah melanie might not have performed the biggest leap or most turns, but i love that her stuff is more original and a bit "weird".

Are you kidding me? People need to open their eyes. Contemporary isn't all about giant leaps and glorious leg extensions. Everyone loves extreme classical training done in a very beastly and grand way. High jumps, lots of spins, extreme strength, etc.
Well sometimes its about movement QUALITY; sharpness, or detail, or the lack there of. Melanie Mah is amazing. So is Jayme Rae. As far as I am concerned, no dancer here "sucks". These people work so hard, and some have more to offer.

One thing I will say is that I am noticing the amount of r and b used in the earlier shows of sytycd made it feel like it was adapted to everyone. Dance is a universal language yes, but I am so tired of hearing the remakes to songs that were originally r and b and then turned into some over sappy drool fest. i love the diversity of the music on these solos.

Melanie and Jayme Rae SUCK! I do not like their solos at all...there is no doubt that the American girls are better with the exception of a few Canadian girls. Jayme Rae should stick to hip hop cause she is not that good with contemporary...I don't know why the judges chose her over Jenny and I also don't know why the judges saved Melanie and Jayme Rae over Corryn, possibly the best dancer ever of the Canadian version.

Amy's solo #9 sould've been higher in my opinion but i love all the solo there, except number 10

I cannot stand Melanie's solos. Just cannot get into them at all!
Amy and Tara Jean were amazing, Amy was the queen of solos that year.
