StefanPriceUK: I don't quite understand your comment or what it has got to do with me and my appreciation of a great player? Being a guitarist in a working band, I'm fully aware of how the 'scene' has changed in the UK over the years (I've been playing for forty-odd of them!) and the reasons why. We are not in disagreement on that point. But...if you're interested, you can still find muso's out there 'doing it' if you care to seek them out! Hang in there and peace, bro.

I was at his first US gig (in Portland) and there were only about 25 people - I was so embarrassed and thought "he'll NEVER set foot here again".... but he surprised me and played a magnificent set last night. Albeit only about 200 or so fans, but he is so gracious and loved our enthusiasm. He is a MASTER and the most under-rated performer (at least in the states) of any genre.
