@flywithmeamerica Because no one group or era can claim patent on what defines "the truth" in their religion & its dogmas. This is also true of political ideas: Democracy and rights as defined in modern states are very different things from their acknowledged provenance, Greece. Good that people cannot be atavistically purists in unjust things. If she were to "convert" to another religion, then she would be conceding that what the hegemon rules as cosmic order is the truth.
