Spooler blowing PVC 4 Chime air whistle

After a long day of crappy Summer chores I found the smallest missing chime to my PVC air whistle. I had lost it a few months ago and found it in the most obvious place...my workshop with the rest of my train junk. Me and my little brother Matt decided to go over to out storage shed and blast the Whistle in a part of LaVale, Maryland which has been silenced of train whistles since the WMRY closed down the C&P railroad and the GC&C railroad. We brought the sounds of steam back into LaVale. Big thanks to my brother Matt for recording this.

Go to ebay, search steam whistle plans. They are always on there.

Not too bad....I am sure it louder in person....Bet it was pretty sharp echoeing through the neighborhood!!!

Yeah its a lot louder in person. Videos do this whistle no good. Its better in person. It sounded great echoing off the Allegany Mountains.

did you know that mallard the worlds fastest steam engine has a 4 chime whistle only it sounds a lot different
