A3973351 Trotzky R.I.P.

Trotzky was a 60 pound one year old male bulldog mix puppy who was dumped at the Baldwin Park Shelter on May 15th. Trotzky was well behaved, but high energy pup, who adored people and other dogs. He was in need of some leash training, but being very food motivated he would have learned quickly. This boy would have made a wonderful pet for a family with an active lifestyle living in a private home. However no one came and he was led to the back of the shelter and given a lethal injection of sedatives. His body was stuffed into a barrel and shoved into a freezer, to wait for a truck to come and take his carcass to a rendering plant where it was boiled. The fat was drained and then sold to cosmetics companies so they could make lipstick.
