I absolutely love Roman Hurko's work! This setting of Psalm 103 leaves me in tears every time. And I find myself asking, "My goodness, what did he hear when he wrote this??" When a liturgical work moves you to deep awe and compunction, it has done it's proper work. Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory be forever!

Jesus Came to save us from our corruption. 1 John 1:9 states that we will sin. James says that we are to help each other stay away from sin, Christians (people who are in the body of Christ) are to go to one another ... when we are in sin to help lead each other out of it! Of course the church is corrupted, that's no news flash! This is the reason God the Father gave us the "Church". Remember what the Bible says about the visible church vs. the invisible church?

I am an atheist and do not believe in the supernatural. But these singers are very talented, and I love this music.
Church as organization doesn't interest me. It may be corrupted as St. Seraphim predicted, may be not. Church is a Body of Christ. That's important. Whatever the bishops or clergy do, I need to stay in That Church, the Body of Christ. On the other hand, God gave me mercy to meet many spiritual people in my life. There's much more of them than of those corrupted you talk about.
