I hadn't read the book and was only vaguely aware of the film, so i watched it thinking it was some kind of lightweight kids film.

Stunned.

Some times the things you don't see can be harder hitting than what you do, can't recommend this film enough.

i will be sitting my kids in front of it.

There is one tiny flaw in this story, children were usually directly sent into the gaschambers, so that boy wouldve died as soon as he arrived at Auschwitz.

But other than that, an amazing, stunning story
