Comme quoi les paroliers des années folles n'étaient guère plus inspirés que nos chanteurs de RnB modernes.... Reste la mélodie et la manière de chanter qui est beaucoup plus jolie que ce qu'on fait généralement maintenant.

I would hardly know this song if it had not been included in Mafia's soundtrack. And I knew a lot of Django stuff long before I played the game. Try to find some information about Josette Dayde and you'll see how hard it is (even in French).
And, yes, this is about music ;)
