You can see he also goes back when he's on stage to look a thew crowd where he jumped in, to see if everyone's okay, then he past his heart as if to say: oh thank god everything seems to be ok.

Around 2:06 you can see him asking the crowd something like "you ok? you ok?". That's what I love about Eddie, he always cares about the fans. I went to my first PJ show this year and he was really kind asking everyone to take two steps back 'cause there were some young girls in the front.

Now that i see this vid again, i think maybe he was pulled by his hair and clothes to the side where the crowd eventually collapsed. If your hair is pulled one way, you will automatically follow that way, since you wouldn't want your hair to get pulled out. Right after that I guess the rest of the crowd didn't expect this sudden change.
