My lancer is beginning to show the same issue. along with the serpentine belt or the alternator is squealing when I use the A/C or turn on my car in the morning.

its a great car but... expensive ever since ive had her on the road... she's been fine lately and full of power one very strong car... last things I've replaced are all it's belts... good luck sounds like a belt issue... very easy fix..!
