I think they both did well for the roles they had, and they both suited them perfectly. In all honesty, all the actors did fantastic in that movie. I do think Christoph Waltz had a harder role to play.

a psychological film.. not much action, lots of dialog which are used like randomly and tireeesomeee to watch for a normal person.. watch it 'only' if you're interested in psychological effects of contrast of the classes in today's world order.. i myself could see that it is extremely boring to be so rich that there is nothing to interests you anymore.. i wanted to say; just give out some money you moron

i think this movie could have been good, even great maybe, but pattison wasnt intelligent enough to understand the character, and isn't competent enough as an actor yet to carry a film which basically hinges on a quality central performance

Once you see the movie as less of a story and more as just a floating idea, it's actually really fascinating. I love the concept of it being a journey and taking place in largely only the limo. It's really something to sit down and pick at.

Though, I do think it would work a lot better if it just embraced its satirical edge. Absurdity was the key to making this a much more interesting film. It approached this with the riot scene in particular, but it really could have used more.
