i walked in the gun store ..dead set to buy a glock 17 ..the dealer introduced my to the springfield xd 9 ..i walked out with the springfield ..sorry glock fans ! i was sold

I have the XDM in 9mm and will soon be purchasing another one in a different barrel length. It's a great gun. I know why I went with the Springfield but I wonder why you chose the XD9 over a Glock 19 or 17? There's more gear available for the Glock, more Glock owners and in the event of SHTF it's more likely that there will be parts and mags available (somewhere) for the G19 or G17 than for the XD9.

I'm not a Glock fanboy but from s survivalist standpoint I can understand some people's bias.

@AnalyticalSurvival hey, i am just watching your vids right now. i was wondering...im going pakistan in bout 2 years time (and no, im not a terrorist). i am really worried about violence there because of bombers and real terrorists. so i am going to buy a gun when i get there, can you please tell me a gun thats really good for wounding or even maybe killing (not really intending on that though). im on a budget only £500. I walked into a gun store, dead set to buy a springfield xd 9. The dealer told me no chunk of metal would protect me from the police state and pigs that were everywhere, and how to think like a warrior. I walked out an anarchist ready for war... sorry springfield fans ! I was sold.
