@amino213 not 300 but 330 Million when world's population was that much. By that logic Sanatan Dharma (Eternal Natural Law) should have 7 Billion deities. The word is Deva - the one which grants Vid or Wisdom/knowledge. That resides in each of us so each one of us is deva (deity, AbraHaramics call God whom they have used as dog to bark at other people).

@amino213 Yes I was being very general. Thanks for elaborating. But for the sake of being thorough, Hindus don't believe in Heaven and Hell as after lives. Rather re-incarnation into a different class based on how Karma judges one. This life is a raindrop and death is returning to the ocean. I kind of take bits of many religions and philosophies and judge for myself what I like and want to believe. I call my belief Neo-Hippie-ism.

Hi, to an extent i understand your comment, however religions have different view and approach to life, some may be similar and are different. for example in islam it states you have to beleive in one God alone the almighty with no children and no parents and there is nothing like God ,beleive in his angels and his messengers in order to go heaven, then you take a look at hindu where they have more than 300 Gods in order to go heaven.
